TML is owned by Tata Group and is the 18th largest locomotive producer of locomotives in the world. The company has branches spread in different parts of the world including Pantnagar , Lucknow , Dharwad, Pune, Jamshedpur, Argentina, South Africa, Thailand , the United kingdom and India. Jaguar is a British luxury car maker based in Coventry England. It was first started by Sir William Lyons as a motorcycle side car manufacturing company called the Swallow Side Car Company. In 1968 Jaguar became a part of British Motor Corporation which later became British Leyland and was listed in the London Stock Exchange. But after its acquisition by Ford in 1990, Jaguar has been listed in the FTSE 100 index. Jaguar has the unique distinction of having delivered cars to the Royal Kingdom of England.
Land Rover is a British Car maker that is headquartered in Gaydon, Warwickshire, United Kingdom. Since 1947 their expertise mainly lies in making four wheel drive cars. They are the biggest competitors of Jeep, but have been through a spate of acquisitions and break ups. The company was taken over by British Leyland Motor Corporation in 1967. Following this BMW took over Rover group in 1994. In 2000 Rover group split from BMW and was acquired by the Ford (Premier Automotive Company).
